Preparing for a hurricane is nothing, do it early.

People keep asking why I am not concerned with this storm. Mainly because I have seen nature, and it passes; but the frightening thing is, I have also seen man's inhumanity to mankind, and that has never ceased. Getting prepared when the storm arrived is the wrong thing to do. Being prepared all along is the right thing to do, especially when the face of death is a familiar one, albeit sometimes ugly, always consistent.

Falling into place

The holiday magic is here, and it's always a time of reflection for me. At times we seem to go through our ups and downs- but for me it seems that things are just falling into place.
It seems that the past 6 months have been about office work, scheduling events and working out budgets, and with that there is a sort of comfort of being in that work mode. Being focused that way for such a long time, I find a bit of relief reaping the benefits of hard work.
I hope that this little note reminds us that things will always change, there are ups and downs, just the same as day and night, and there is always a time to enjoy your works, and make great plans for your future. Let things fall into place, and enjoy the magic of being in the moment.
